What this site is
We're a small team based in and around Manchester, and we write about business consulting. Not to sell it — to explain it. We got tired of seeing owners pay for things they didn't understand, and consultants describe their work in terms that could mean almost anything.
So we cover the field one topic at a time, in language a busy person can actually use.

How we write
Every guide leads with the answer. We keep the jargon to what's necessary and explain it when we use it. Where the consulting world is vague or self-serving, we say so.
We don't dress things up. If a piece of work is often oversold, that's worth knowing before you commission it.
